Is it possible to remove complete sound beats out of audio recorded audio? That is to perhaps match two identical beats in a song and invert such beat to cancel out the other, leaving only the remaining background music?

Yes, absolutely!

The catch is "identical", which applies not only to the sound itself, but also to it's digitization and quantization. In other words, the sample you use for cancelling must be identical not only in what it sounds like, but also must have be at the same sampling rate and the quantization (where the waveform falls in respect to the sample rate) must also match. Chances are that you won't find this happening well enough to be useful unless you are using synthesized sounds.
