I need a method to rip audio directly from a video DVD. I've got a DVD of a concert, and would be nice to make mp3's out of the different songs. Using 6.0, I notice there's a drop down on "file" to "Record from CD" - but not from DVD. This possible? Buck |

I believe there is not a legal way to "rip" audio from a DVD, due to the copyright protection within the DVD specs. Here is a website, that explains how to do what you are trying to achieve, if you're interested in going through a few steps. http://3mors.virtualave.net/dvd2mp3.html |

Try using Virtual Audio Cable (VAC) as an output device from a DVD player application, and input to SForge. geoff |

I don't know what it is but it sounds identical. I use forge to record it as it is played on the DVD . It works super. I assume its digital anyway after it is recorded by forge its digital. JJK |
