Matrox sound blown out in Premiere -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:Matrox sound blown out in Premiere Posted by: tmkoel Date:10/16/2003 6:39:24 PM If I open a previously well-working Matrox captured clip in 6.5, using Sonic's Sound Forge 6.0, work with the sound and then save it in Matrox DV/CAM, the clip is perfect when viewed in Forge and with the Media Player (and I imagine all other programs), but back in Premiere the Sound part of the file is all blown out, overmodulated, useless. In fact there appears to be really nothing wrong with it, but Premiere thinks there is. If I don't save it in Matrox DV/CAM, then my Matrox Card won't look at it (100Extreme) without a legnthy preview. Any suggestions? Thanks, Tom
