Subject:Audio popping of the AVI

A voice over on my audio track is popping. I've tried Normailizing it to no avail in Vegas 4c.
I also have Sound Forge 6e but don't really know how to use it [the editor is away and I am not as experienced as he].
Can you guys giude me to erradicating this problem please.
