Subject:click tracking in soundforge

Hi,

I'm using an older version of soundforge (4.5 to be exact). does anyone know if there is a way to create an audio "click track". It would sound like a click or drum beat that is heard/played a certain number of beats per minute. it would then be used to assist with time-keeping during recording. Any help is much appreciated!!

Sound Forge is not designed for this, what you want is a multitrack recorder like Vegas or a sequencer like one of Cakewalk's etc.

You could possibly set up an external synth or soft synth and trigger it with Sound Forge if 4.5 supports MIDI (I don't remember) but it would be very clumsy at best.
