Subject:Import Wav. Problem...HELP!

I'm currently working on a hard rock song for a Music assessment at school -its desperate!

I have this problem where when I try to import this drum loop (which I configured to be the exact right tempo) it comes out at a much faster tempo than I wanted -and I have made sure that in media player this wav. plays properly. It was originally made in a program called "Hammer Head Rhythm Station" and then streamed to wav.

HOW DO I IMPORT IT WITHOUT LOOSING THE CORRECT TEMPO!?

this may sound ridiculously simple but, I have had the same problems in the past & got acceptable results from changing your main tempo - if nothing else just play around in the ''track properties" window & you should get some satisfactory results- try rendering/extracting your loops in acid first as well- your results may be more satisfying.

If the loop was made in another app, it's quite possible that ACID is guesstimating and applying its ACIDization to the loop.

When ACID encounters a loop that isn't ACIDized, it will try to the best of its ability to guess—which can turn out to be not the way you want it.
