howdy yall, i'm trying to record real audio transmissions from the web through sound forge and i just cannot get it to happen. i'm able to record the transmissions, but they are recorded at extremely low levels. i have to turn my volume up all the way to make out anything, and even then its extremely faint. only the recording process messes it up. it also does this when itry and record mp3s and cds. i do not get it. the are coming through loud and clear through my speakers, but the recording process does not work. i'm sure there is a simple solution to this, but damned if i can figure it out. any help is appreciated. cam |

Check to see if your recording inputs' sliders are turned all the way up via your soundcard's software mixer. (What are you choosing for recording input?) HTH, Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page |
