I want to put 2 CDs of music on one CD. I have extracted audio from the two CDs and saved as .wav files using Sound Forge 6.0 Each file has regions indicated marking the track boundaries. How can I get these boundaries to show on a burnt CD? |

if you've already set the regions, you need to extract them to seperate wave files and then burn those files with a DAO compliant burning program like Nero or CD Architect. you can extract the regions by opening the file, then going to Tools -> Extract Regions. after this you will have each region as an individual wave file. simply cue these up in Nero/CDA and burn (don't forget to remove the 2 second gap between each track if you don't want pauses between your tracks.) |

Thanks. I've actually got markers where each track starts and I am having difficulty changing them to regions. I've tried to edit each one and they can be changed to regions easily but the timecodes don't work - they all start and finish at the time the marker is set for - so the files are not the correct duration. Is it not possible for the program to calculate the time between regions? |

Click on the region within the region list box. This will highlight the region in the wave editor window. To the botton right of the wave editor window there are 3 times that get displayed. 1. Start Time 2. End Time 3. Selected region time. Time display 3 is what you're looking for. Or double click on the region and a new window will appear with the start/end/Length information Region durations can be edited by clicking on the markers located at the top of the wave editor window and dragging them. Or by editing the Start/end/Length when you double click on the region within the region list box. |
