Title says it all. I've had pretty decent success using my tapping finger on the M key to make markers on the beat in S-V. Just wondering if there is a more "exact" option in SF7? Grazie |

I don't think so. However, i've found it easier to find things i'm looking for in the waveform in SoundForge than in Vegas, so if you're a visual person like i am it might be easier. Have you considered ACID's BeatMapper? It's got a really nice interactive display that helps you find the exact tempo of a song and alignt it to the beat grid. You could then easily place markers on the gridlines and render this to a new file with metadata and the markers should be preserved when you open it in Vegas. |

In Sound Forge goto the OPTIONS menu and turn on the "Selection Grid Lines". This has aided me in creating loops, if they're in 4/4 time signature. |
