Subject:What happened to MusicStudio? Posted by: gus2150 Date:12/13/2003 6:10:27 PM I bought Sony ScreenBlast MusicStudio some months ago because it was on sale and jumped into my shopping cart. Now I have recently purchased ScreenBlast MovieStudio 3 and plan to use it to edit my video projects. With both ot these products being the same family, "ScreenBlast", I was kind of thinking there might be some synergism between these programs and MusicStudio would be useful for creating sound tracks for my video projects. But now I can't even find it as a product anymore. Has it been discontinued - or replaced? If replaced, by what? Should I even bother to install it and learn how to use it? What do you suggest?

Therefore, Screenblast Acid 4.0 would be the replacement for Music Studio. I've been buying a few copies of it on ebay (only if it says new/sealed in box), mostly just to get SIREN 2.0. I've been finding it for around $10 most of the time and installing it on friends' computers so that they can get the best jukebox software available. If they want to tinker around with ACID too then it's an extra bonus. As far as it being obsolete, you can still register it, use it, download the latest update, get answers to questions here in the forum, and even get technical support. There won't be any new updates for it, but it works well as is.
