anybody knows where the presets you create ( ie a special reverb or a chain of plug in ) are saved ? I have to format my disc but I don't want to lose all theses presets. soundforge version : 5.0 operating system : Win XP pro |

I've gotten a replacement workstation to which I will be migrating all my SF and Vegas work. What is the recommended way when doing a new installation of getting all my custom presets over to the new machine. The old box will be on the network until I get the new machine completed so there would be that kind of direct connectivity. Thanks much and Happy Holidays! Wayne |

Direct quote taken from the Sound Forge help menu: "From the Tools menu, choose Preset Manager to back up, transfer, and delete user-defined effects presets for ACID, Sound Forge, and Vegas. The Preset Manager is designed to work with existing plug-in presets and packages only. You will create your presets and preset packages in Sound Forge, Vegas, or ACID. If you purchased the boxed version of Sound Forge, the Preset Manager is included on the Sound Forge CD. If you purchased the downloadable version, you can get the Preset Manager here." |
