Subject:Should I unstall SF v6 before installing v7 ?

I have not yet installed my Sound Forge v7, even though I have had it for a few months. Currently have v6 on my PC.

Should I uninstall version 6 before installing version 7?

It is not necessary, v6.0 and v7.0 can coexist on the same system. I have v4.5, v6.0, v7.0, all installed on the same system with no problems. I have to say that I never use v6.0 any longer since v7.0's release because there's no benefit.

I kept 6.0 installed so that i can have two Sound Forge windows open at once if i need them. It's handy to have 6.0 sitting in a small window recording new material while i'm editing in 7.0.
