Hello everyone,

Does SF7 permit users to drag separate windows into other video-monitor combinations? For example I want to open the media browser window on a separate monitor, and also the pluggin chainer as well, etc?

Thanks for your time,
Kevin

Sure, assuming the monitors are hooked up to the same computer ;-).

They won't dock outside the main Sound Forge frame. They'll float like any other independent window.

You can bypass docking by holding down Ctrl while dragging the window (if it's docked, grab the little handle bar near the top or left).

You can toggle this behavior with "Options->Preferences->General->Allow floating windows to dock".

Alternatively, on most multi-monitor systems, you can usually maximize a window to fill both monitors, usually by holding down a modifier key while maximizing. Check your video card documentation.
