Can anyone tell what plug-in can be used to recreate a bullhorn or megaphone effect?
Thanks,
Serge

I can think of three things that happen to a voice when it goes through a bullhorn (thinking specifically of the amplified electronic style, rather than the simple cone used by a cheerleader). First, the frequency response is rather narrow. Use EQ to only reproduce something like 400Hz -- 2KHz. Drop off the response rapidly on either side of this range. Second, there is probably some clipping and distortion going on. Use Process / Volume to increase the signal level until the peaks are being chopped off. Reduce afterwards if necessary. Third, there is probably more echo & reverb than you would expect from an unamplified speaker. Add a little bit of reverb and maybe some echo effect.

If you are looking for the unamplified megaphone effect, then using some of the same techniques would apply, but i would say that echo is most important, then some EQ, and then distortion would be least important.
