Subject:can't record midi stuff....

i use sound forge 4.5 and 6.0



my new computer - amd athlon xp 2500 ,512 ddr ,pci 128 sound card
,
my ex- computer -pentium 3 -600mhz ,256 sd ram ,the same sound card
,
i use midi drums of the program"Cakewalk" ,and making music, some guitar recordings on it and arranging etc...,
when i've changed my configration some problem appeared ,
when play midi drums during recording it from sound forge ,some gaps appeared with red markers on several places of recording ,so some gaps making the recording useless, but i thought my new configration is better than the ex one ,
what must i do ?
