Subject:Resample and Bit Depth

I recorded audio with the recording attributes set at 96,000 Hz - 24 bit - Stereo. My goal is to convert attributes down to put on CD. I know the proper resample and bit depth attributes to set for CD. My problems is I am using the batch converter to do this and I'm not sure what order I should do these conversions. Right now I have 1.Normalize 2.Resample 3.Bit Depth. Is this correct or should I reorder?

Thanks
Greg

i think you are using the best order already. the resampling and bit depth converting should be done after all mixing etc (normalizing), and it seems resampling before bit depth converting is better too, as it will do the resampling at 24 bits, making for better quality.

tho actually, i doubt anyone will really notice much difference between a track that is bit depth converted before resampling and vice versa, but it doesn't hurt to process the tracks as optimally as possible. :)
