Old question...couldn't find a solution on here -ACID Product Family

Subject:Old question...couldn't find a solution on here Posted by: Bonz Date:3/25/2004 4:56:33 PM Hey everyone: I have Acid Pro 4.0 and SoundForge 7.0...neither program detects a cd-burner under "Burn Track-at-Once Audio CD". I searched the forums and knowledge base endlessly but really couldn't find a solution. I am logged in as system administrator, the cd-burner shows up properly in the Registry, I can't update the firmware (none listed on the Sony page) and it works fine in every other program. I'm probably missing something, but I have no clue where else to look. Any suggestions would seriously appreciated and if I missed the answer in an old post sorry for rehashing the topic. :) Thanks!

ASPI32.sys and WNASPI32.DLL are both version 4.71.2. Still no drives listed in SoundForge or Acid. Just in case you want to know, I have a Sony CD-RW drive, model CRX-230A. I'm befuddled. :(

There is no firmware upgrade on Sony's website and I have the latest drivers for my nForce2. I'll drop a message to Customer Service...unless you have any other ideas? Hehe.
