Subject:Voice Techno Remix, how?

It is really hard to explain what I'm looking for.

You know that techno-like mix of a singer's voice? It seems that it comes out of a robot, but it's actually the singer's voice electronically processed. It's used in many of the new-age songs and mostly in pop music.

What is the name of that process?
And how, if possible, can I do it in Sound Forge?

The name is a "Vocoder", you can't do it in Sound Forge unless you get a Vocoder DX plugin.
