Subject:crossfade flutter?

I convert regular wav files to backing tracks first by inverting the left channel and then converting both channels to mono. I then enhance the resulting file but haven't been able to cut down or eliminate crossfade flutter.
Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks. SoundForge V6 Build 132
