Subject:recording speed?

My 4.5 version has decided to spontaneously record everything in extreme time compression (e.g., a 30-second recording plays back at about 1.5 seconds). I cannot find anything in the manual to correct this. Can anyone please help? I'm on deadline.

Almost sounds like a sample rate mismatch is going on?

What's your audio interface or soundcard?

Try going to "File/Properties/Format, change the sample rate to what you recorded it at..
Somehow it may have got recorded at a low sample rate and SF is playing it back at a higher one.
