My 4.5 version has decided to spontaneously record everything in extreme time compression (e.g., a 30-second recording plays back at about 1.5 seconds). I cannot find anything in the manual to correct this. Can anyone please help? I'm on deadline. Thanks! |

Almost sounds like a sample rate mismatch is going on? What's your audio interface or soundcard? Be sure to use the email support or phone support options in the menu above on this page under "SUPPORT," especially if you need help right away. This is largely a peer-to-peer forum and official Sony reps do try to help from time to time, but it's no guarantee that you'll get an official answer here. Try going to "File/Properties/Format, change the sample rate to what you recorded it at.. Somehow it may have got recorded at a low sample rate and SF is playing it back at a higher one. |
