What is the difference between ScreenBlast and Acid? I have been using acid xpress and my free time has run out and i am thinking of getting the pro, but if I do not need to spend $400.00, then I will not. If ScreenBlast will do the same things as Acid Xpress, then that is the product I need.

I don’t think there is a time limit on ACID Xpress. Are you sure you didn’t download a demo of Screenblast ACID?

According to this comparison chart on the Sony site, Screenblast ACID will do a lot more than ACID XPress is actually the old ACID Music with a few new options. If you were happy with ACID Xpress, then the next logical step would be Screenblast ACID.

You can still get ACID Music for a great price. I got it from ClickCoolDeals.com for $12.95.

I have screenblast version 69$. I believe the main difference to be lack of midi support in screenblast vs. Pro.
