On the back cover of the May 2004 Videomaker there is a little black box being introduced as the Sony Pictures Sound Effects Series. A comprehensive, dynamic, five-volume collection of sound effects from the Sony Pictures studio archives.

Sounds cool. Where is it? How much does it cost? Can I order it with my Vegas upgrade?

SF offered a free S-FX series download with SF-6. It sucked.
I wonder if it's the same one.

The "1,001 SFX" was okay, but not very impressive. Certainly nothing that could be presented as "5 Volumes" or would be worth advertising, since it was given away with SF & Vegas 4 (after I bought it :o)...

It has to be a new set.
