Subject:can't record nforce2 soundstorm audio effects?

Anyone know how to get soundforge to record processed audio from nvidia's soundstorm APU? After I set the effects up (chorus, distortion, etc.), as soon as I hit the record button, all the effects cut off and it just records the straight sound (guitar in line-in jack). Seems like there has to be a way to be able to do this but I can't figure it out!
