Do I need the Sony Setp folder after update?

I just installed Vegas 5.0a update (I had boxed version of DVDA5.0 DVDA2.0 delivered), and after I installed update a folder appeared on my desktop called SONY SETUP.
Do I need this folder for anything or can I delete?

No you can safely delete it. It’s good in case you need to do an installation repair but you can always get it back by executing the downloaded file again.
