I haven't used the Batch Converter much, I think once in the entire time I've used Sound Forge. Anyways, I recently purchased one of these Rio compact MP3 players that takes SDD memory. Since these cards aren't all that cheap, I want to shrink the size of my .MP3 files down a bit to conserve on file size, and get rid of most of the information the Rio probably doesn't do a good job of playing back anyways through headphones. So what I want to do is open a bunch of MP3 files and then Save them to a different folder and encode them ALL at 128KBS. Is this possible for Batch converter? I know it isn't Possible for the "Save ALL" feature, because SF tells me there are no modified samples in the current files.

yes, Batch Converter can do this, both the re-encoding and saving to a different folder part.

Thanks, Looks like it's time for me to reinstall the Batch converter on my system.
