Subject:mpeg video out of sync

Hi there.
I'm using Soundforge 7 to edit the audio of a mpeg file.
In the past I never had any problems when I load the audio file and then attach a video, that way I can view the video as I edit the audio. For some reason this time, the audio is out of sync with the video and I can't seem to find out why. Does anybody have any tweaking ideas that I can try.
The audio file is in the "wave" format, extracted from a mpeg movie.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

If it is an acm compressed .wav (e.g. ADPCM), try saving it as an uncompressed .wav and working with that. Some of the acm codecs have seek issues. You could also check the "Always proxy compressed formats" option in Options->Preferences->File instead.
