Sorry ,
Yes like the photo type camera, or autowinder.
doesnt have to be the real sound , synth'd sound will do. My camcorder has one when you take a still shot, but I dont have a way to get a clean sample of it .
I'm freezing the last frame of a clip, adding a white flash and fading to b/w and want to add this sound.
Have you checked out sounddogs.com? They have samples and effects you can buy on an individual basis. Of course, you can check the ACID loops for this. It's really a percussive sound, like a processed cabasa with a short attack.
You know..... I just recorded this using two cameras: an Olympus OM-4t with the winder 2 (2.5 frames/sec.... Older mechanical shutter/ winder sound) and then a Canon A2 (5 frames/sec..... newer "whisper"/electronic sound). I am using this for a project.... flashing still photo sequences. I went with the Olympus sound due to preference. If you are not in a great rush, I can render out just the audio (video is there as well, of me holding cameras...filmed with a Canon GL-1) and send that to you... keep the file size smaller. Let me know what you think, and the rendered format. i can probably do it this weekend.
Spacehounds and Jesse,
Thanks, I do think I might have an acid loop that I could make close to the sound in SF.
but Jesse if you have the sound that would be great!
I would be looking for just a single take: of the shutter "click" then the autowinder sound right after.
If you want to render it out even as an mp3 and send it that would be great , It's going atop a music bed so I dont need high qual .wav sample.
If you have the time you can send it to :
epirb@comcast (dot) net
Many thanks in advance
eric
well as was typing the last post I see John posted those two links, found what'll work on the findsounds site in two clicks of the mouse!
perfect!
Thanx John!
Jesse, thanks anyway but no use going thru the trouble , Got what I need!
gratefully, Eric
Go to http://www.independent.nu/, click on "ljudbank". Theres a file called "kameraklick" which is what you need. There's also "Kamerablixtlampor" which are flashbulbs going off, as well as a bunch of other sounds. Good quality mp3's. All they ask are for you to mention their site in the end credits.
