Subject:Listening to what is being recorded

We are trying to use Sound Forge 7.0 with a SoundMax soundcard to record our church service, when we try to listen to what it being recorded (to monitor input level) we can NOT hear anything. We can hear what was recorded after it is recorded, but thats a little to late to correct any problems....any ideas???

Hearing what is incoming is a function of your soundcard mixer applet. Double-click the little windows speaker to bring up the mixer, and make the relevant selections.

If 7 is the same as 5 & 6 place a check in the Monitor check-box in the recording applet.
