if I download the upgrade to SF version 7 rather than getting the boxed version, what am I missing besides the program on CD and a paper manual?

if I buy the download version can I also get the boxed version sent later?

If you buy the boxed version, that's basically what you get additionally. The paper book and the CDrom. Also there's a good chance you might get an older version, instead of the latest 7.0a, which means you should come here and download the update. I think you might also get Vegas LE, or Acid Music, screenblast acid..etc....can't say for sure, I never owned a boxed version. They're basically the lite versions of the full app, which could be usefull if you don't have any of these.....as I said, I'm not 100% on that though.

I don't believe you could buy a downloaded version, then also get a boxed version. Next is that what you're really paying for is the Serial Number and the ability to register the product. So, in this manor you would have 2 serial numbers and you only paid for one.
