Subject:No Recoding Posted by: bjbarry Date:6/1/2004 6:20:34 PM I am a novice using Sound Forge Studio 6. I have been recording cassette tapes of family history interviews. Done over 80 tapes. Last night after #80, I went to record next tape and nothing. I had the flashing record, but the two green bars didn't move as in the past. When Tape was done, nothing was recorded. I tried different tapes, checked connections. Still no recording. I still have 40 Gigs of open space on my machine. I checked manuals, etc. but no clues as to what I can do to fix the problem. Any ideas?

With or without your help (sh-- happens) Re-check/set soundcard settings: Open Volume Controls> Options> Properties> Recording. (enable Line in) Re-check/set Sound Forge settings: Options> Preferences> Wave tab.

Your soundcard setting may have got changed. With or without your help (sh-- happens)
Re-check/set soundcard settings: Open Volume Controls> Options> Properties> Recording. (enable Line in)

Re-check/set Sound Forge settings: Options> Preferences> Wave tab.
