Subject:applying volume fades in plug in chain

When I have the volume envelope in my plug-in chain, the only way it will be processed (using 'process plugins) is when I have only the volume effect selected and none of the other plug-ins. How can I process all plug-ins at once?

I believe the Fade- In / Out / Graphic, like Pan/Expand, Insert Silence, ect. is an application process, and not a plug-in, so there for it will not work with the plug-in chainer.
