Subject:Recorded Sound Skips!

Hello,
When recording from a DJ keyboard into Sound Forge via an Edirol Audio Interface (USB), the recorded sound seems to be skipping. In other words, it's not recording full data. As a result, I end up with garbled soundtrack. I tried recording with other Audio Editors and they seem to be recording fine. Any suggestion? Thanks for your help.
