When I select a drop down menu, say to select VOLUME or some other effect, the timeline and meters start to "stutter". The audio continues to play without a hiccup, but the visuals are stuttering. As soon as I exit the menu, everything is smooth again. Video card issue?? Any ideas? Using SF 6.0 with 512Megs of RAM. XP Home french language Thanks Mario |

Mine does the exact same thing, so I doubt it's a video card issue. Probably just the way Sound Forge assigns priority to resources, where audio is a higher priority than video refresh. It does the same thing for the Video preview window. Try opening the Windows system .AVI called "clock.avi" and view the video preview and do the same steps you are talking about. You will see the audio plays without a hickup, but the clock goes from counting 1-12 smoothing to skipping numbers when you open up the process menu. |
