You do know this is a peer support forum right? That is we are users just like yourself, so pouting and demanding a response won't get you very far, because we don't get paid for helping you. If you purchased Sound Forge, then you might try the Sony customer service and they could better assist you. Here's a direct web address to assist you in contacting them: http://mediasoftware.sonypictures.com/support/contactus.asp That being said, do you have any other Sony apps installed? The folder that is outlined is a shared folder created by the Sony apps where all the plugins get installed. The file that you listed is a driver file of one of the plugin packages. It could be possible that somehow this driver file got corrupted. I would download DXMan from Analog X. www.analogx.com. or a link to his direct downloads page: http://www.analogx.com/contents/download/audio.htm. This will allow you to deinstall any DX plugin on your system. So I would suggest deinstalling all the Sony plugins, to clear anything from the registry. Then I would go to that particular folder: C:\Program files\sony\Shared Plug-ins\Audio\ and make sure the file "sfxpfx3.dll" is deleted. Once you completed this then try installing Sound Forge and see if this solves your problem. |
