I hope someone can help me. I am trying to open an avi file to edit the audio, and after about halfway through, I am receiving an error message "An error occurred during the current operation. An error occurred while opening a codec." I can see the video but there is no audio present. What am I doing wrong, do I have something set wrong, or what? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Can you open and play the AVI normally in something like Windows Media Player?
