I just cannot believe what happened....

I just opened up my copy of Batch Conveter 5 to do some click and crackle removal on six hours worth of vinyl LP transfers I just finished.

I found it odd that the "please enter a serial number" banner came up when I opened the program (I use it infrequently, but it is registered and I *do* use it), but because I am at work and working on a deadline, I just entered use it as a free trial.

Now all my files have beeps and buzzes

I'm furious. I don't remember the trial version being so crippled. And how do I get my files back without having to redo over ten hours of work??

You can register your B/C 5.0 at work. Enter the serial number and register.
Sony allows you to have your S/W on different PCs (certain restrictions apply, call for info).
Then to make sure, contact customer service so they know that both registrations are for you.
