I've been recording long programs (like one or two hours) and finding that somewhere during the recording process the sampling rate (I think that's what's happening) changes and doubles the duration of the file. In other words, my recorded file sounds fine, but suddenly it switches to twice as slow and the file size doubles. I can "fix" it by copying the slow part to a new file and changing the sample rate, but I can't combine the two "good" parts into one file because of the different sample rates. This is happening about one fourth of the time when I record. What is happening and how do I stop it? All replys appreciated. |

That's odd. I've never heard of sample rates changing during recording. What version of Sound Forge and what soundcard are you using to record with? Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |

Are you sure it's not something to do with Win9xfilesize limit, or 2GB wav file size limitation, and auto-switching to W64 ? geoff |

Hmm. Might want to try going into the Mia's console. Click the Settings button, then on the Driver tab, ensure the sample rate is locked at a specific setting. Iacobus ------- RodelWorks - Original Music for the Unafraid mD's ACIDplanet Page Guitars 4 Kids |
