Hello, I'm new on this forum. I'm having an issue with the pitch bender that comes with SoundForge 7. I just cannot apply the correct pitching if I select an area of the file that is after the beginning! The sound becomes either unchanged or with some crazy pitching, not what I intented, though. My system: AMD Athlon XP 2600+ Barton 512Mb DDR Hard Disk Seagate Barracuda 80Gb @ 7200RPM GeForce FX 5200 MoBo ASUS A7N8X-X Windows XP Professional Edition (Port. Brazil) w/ Service Pack 2 Soundcard Creative SoundBlaster LIVE 5.1 Digital Studio (SB0220) SoundForge version 7.0 (build 214) Reinstalled the whole operational system, all updated drivers for my motherboard, soundcard The problem, just for acknowledge, occurred before the instalation of the service pack, so it's not an SP issue. |

Try updating SoundForge to 7.0a -- may help your problem. But I still have problems with the pitch blend in 7.0a. Sound Forge crashes if I apply the pitch blend for the first time to a .wav file and the pitch blend is in the negative direction at the end of the sample. It seems to be more stable if I just add another node somewhere in the middle of the sample, though the mode really serves no purpose. Anyone else experience this problem? |

Oh, Oh, just noticed that SoundForge has been updated to 7.0b. May want to give that a try. |
