New Audio glitch after processing... -Sound Forge - PC

Subject:New Audio glitch after processing... Posted by: teaktart Date:10/4/2004 3:32:24 PM I'm having a new problem today with an audio "blip" showing up in regions of a track I have "processed" for volume, as well as when using the wave hammer, and noise reduction tools. Its an electronic kind of sound, very short but very noticable. Kind of like the sound of the bleep when a conversation is being recorded. The same region(s) after applying a process are also noticeably off the DC axis on the track view. I had already checked the DC offest box before recording my track and the rest of the track is normal. Only thing different today is that I've recently installed the XP Service pack2. Any ideas what might have happened with my software and these two problems? and how can I resolve, suggestions? Thank you, teaktart
