DC offset after using wave hammer -Sound Forge - PC

They seem to have arrived with the SP 2 I recently installed. I got most of them fixed up after 'scanning for errors', defragging (again) and reinstalling SF 7.0b. I still have one glitch left and that is that when I apply the 'wave hammer' to a region it is noticably off center (DC offset). I have to go and run the DC offset to get it back centered. Is this a known bug with 7.0b? Any other suggestions on how to remedy this weird new habit of my SF? Thanks much, Teaktart
