Subject:Rendering takes hours

Hi,

I used sound forge 7.0 on my previous windows installation and rendering a 1 minute song took me about 30 seconds. Now it takes me 740 hours to render the same song. What could possibly went wrong?

I use Windows XP Professional edition
Windows MEdia 10 Format
Divx 5.1
Direct-x 9.0
AMD Athlon XP 2200+
512mb DDR-RAM
Free diskspace 20GB

Yikes. Shouldn't take that long at all. Sounds like something got horked.

Have you tried rendering to other formats, like MP3 or RealMedia? It may be the Windows Media plug-in or it may be Sound Forge itself. You might want to try an uninstall and reinstall in any case.
