I've just rebuilt my machine and never encountered this problem before(after several rebuilds). I install SF5 then register from another computer as my DAW has no internet then I get my registry file and install that. When I go to load SF5 it won't load because it says I'm missing a specified module. The error is a rundll box that says "error loading c:\programs~sonic" Any ideas what this could be, I've tried reinstalling with no luck. This problem occurrs also with Acid 3 Pro however after about 5 minutes Acid will then appear. These are my last two programs to install for my rebuild and I don't wish to rebuils again as it's taken me all day. Thanks for any help |

Sounds like somewhere along the way you've disabled 8.3 filenames. You can find the solution in the Knowledge Base (in the Support menu at the top of this page). Just search on 'rundll'. |
