I am new, very new to SF7 and would like to record (reading story) with my own voice and have music playing on the background, but don't know how. I would appreciate if anyone could help me with the set up? I have a microphone attached to the coputer and am running Win XP pro. I would apprreciate if you could walk me through the set up with very details. Thanks |

Vegas would be the program to use for that.. (You can't play-back and record at the same time with SF.. which is an editing/mastering program, not a multi-track program like Vegas) But a simple sound-on-sound process can be done with SF. Record and copy the music (or voice) you want to add , it will have to be the same sample/bit rate and file format. In SF, put cursor at insert/start point: Select Edit> Paste Special> Mix. You will have to experment to find the best mix for the voice over / music under. For more info , see the SF manual or help files. (I don't know if this process is available on the non-pro version "studio or XP' version" |
