When I play a commercial CD my CD player shows track numbers and timings for each track as it plays. When I record a mix in SF I simulate this effect by splitting the large .WAV file which results into, say, 12 individual .WAV files and then burn the resulting CD with zero delay between the individual .WAV files. Is there any way in SF to indicate track divisions to get this effect withiut having to generate individual .WAV files? Thanks |

No. Vegas, CD Architect, and ACID 5 can do this. |

Addendum: In order to eliminate the pause between tracks, CDs must be burned on a application that supports Disc-at-Once. (DAO) SF can only burn Track-at-Once (TAO) which always adds a two second pause between tracks. In addition Chien's advice, Nero and Roxio can burn DAO... but CD Arc is a much more versitile program. In my opinion... CD Ark should be included with SF... AND be enabled to burn CD text ... but that's another rant and I don't want get myself and my SF forum cohorts (Chien & Red) started on it. |

Thanks - I actually use Zero DAO with a zero pause. Pity about SF! |
