I am hearing my voice through my speakers but Acid isn't recoginizing it. I have the monitor checked and when talking into the mic the meters do not have any activity at all. I went into audio sound control panel volume properties both playback and record there is nothing muted and all volumes are 75% straight across. Obviously the connections are right because I am hearing my voice perfectly. What could be the problem??? Anything please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the recording volume control panel, is Line In checked? The recording input can be selected independantly of the monitoring/playback input.
