Hello. Is there a way to merge wave files in Sound Forge (or should I look at a different program)? I have a file that has portions that are extremely quite and I'l like to add some background noise. Thank you.

You can do this using the Edit / Paste Special / Mix function. Timing is a bit dicey, but it does work.
