How do I fast forward the recording during playback to find the edit points? Is there a way to use the "find" option to target a certain waveform (the same couph!)? thx all
Subject:RE: fast playback option Reply by: Chienworks Date:12/3/2004 3:56:04 AM If you double-click on the sample rate near the bottom center of the screen you can temporarily change this to a higher number for fast playback. Just remember to set it back to the original value before burning CDs! There is a find function, but it's not terribly useful. No two coughs sound identical so the waveform will be somewhat different each time. I've found that i can usually spot coughs and pauses in the visual waveform by eye pretty quickly and snip them out without even listening. I'll usually make anywhere from 100 to 500 cuts in our 85 minute service recording to cut it down to 79.5 minutes and spend less than 10 minutes doing it.
