I upgraded to 7.0 and now I'm having glitches when I record. I downgraded to 6.0 and it's still happening. Basically when I'm recording, every now and then there is a doubled beat, like a short section of the music was repeated so that you hear two snare beats if it happened during a snare beat. I've tried increasing the buffer size of the program but it's still happening. I thought my new desktop was powerful enough to record while using other applications but now that this started happening, I don't do anything when I'm recording but I still get the repeated sections. Any ideas or suggestions as to how I can go about fixing this? |

Exit all background applications that may be running, such as anti-virus, screen savers, ect. If that does not help, turn graphic acceleration to minimum, reduce screen and color resolution. If all above fails, check the device manager to see if the sound card is sharing an IRQ with the graphics card or somtthing else. If it is, move it to a different PCI slot if possible. |
