Hi There - I have an audio cd that was given to me un-finalized. The client wants to add a video of one of the songs as an extra on the CD. I have Nero and I know I've done this before but I can't seem to figure it out. It doesn't seem to give me the option to append to the CD as data and burn. If anyone knows, can they email me at cdm@cdmstudios.com? or post here? thanks in advance! |

It's been a long time since I've done this, so I may be wrong.....and I think the last time I did this was with Adaptecs EasyCD pro95. I believe a mixed mode CD is just a multisession disc, where session 1 is the audio and session 2 is the CDrom info.....although, I might have this in verse order. So if the disc isn't closed you should be able to burn the second session. So in Nero I would select burn CDrom, and select "continue multisession" disc, then burn the additional data. Or you could just create a new CD and drag the audio files from the unclosed disc into the audio section, and the additional data into the files section and burn away to a new disc. |

thanks - actually, what I discovered is that this is SO much easier on a Mac. All I had to do was take the open session DAO audio CD and put it in the drive, open Toast, and burn an ISO 9660 cd-rom on the other part of the cd and finalize. |

It maybe the actual software....you know we like to avoid those Mac vs PC fueling discussions. :-) Like I said, I did this previously with Adaptec's Easy CD Pro awhile back, and hadn't tried it on Nero. So obviously Toast is made by Adaptec as is Easy CD. I'm sure it's possible in Nero...just not exactly sure how. |
