Subject:MP3 pluggin installation - how to?

though I have installed MP3 support once before - I can't figure out how to do it now. No option for install was offered and I can't find a separate install program in my files. Again I have already done this successfully once. Do I have to download an install program and, if so, where do I find it? Many thanks in advance Fultro

Starting with later versions of 4.5 and up, MP3 was included automatically with the base install. You do have to register it separately. The first time you try to save an MP3 file you'll be asked to register it or only have 20 uses. Click the [Register Now] button if you're online and you're done. Otherwise use the "Register from another computer" method.

If you have an earlier version of 4.5 then please go to the download page and get the latest update. If you're using a version older than 4.5 .... why?

that is what I thought but I have no option to save as MP3
Now i wonder if it is because I have not registered ythe main progtram yet - I did try but I get the reply that I have exhausted the number of install I am allowed on this computer
I have been trying to get them by phone - but to no avail - maybe not til next week
